Welcome to Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses in Lisbon and Porto.
At Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses, we work for you to have the best and unique memorable stay with us either in Lisbon or in Porto. We want to provide you everything you need before, during and after your stay with us! Please find below some useful information to read before your arrival.
Our check-in time starts at 3 pm and check-out is done until 11 am.
However, if you get here before 3 pm, it will always be possible to leave your luggage at the guesthouse with no extra cost.
Every Shiadu guest deserves a special welcome, so we need to know your expected arrival time and/or your flight details. Check-ins between 9 pm and midnight are only possible if you tell us your expected arrival time, and will incur an extra fee of €15 on the first night added to your balance.
If you plan to arrive later than the foreseen time, and whenever possible, we kindly ask you to inform us about your expected arrival time. In case we do not have any news from you in the 12 hours after your expected arrival time we may book/occupy the room without further notice.
During your stay at Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses, we want you to feel like home. However, in case you come across anything wrong or not functioning/working, we kindly ask to report it to us immediately so we can solve the problem as soon as possible.
In case of damages checked in your room or common areas during your stay, the replacement or repair costs will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on reservation process.
If you forgot to mention on check-out extra expenses done during your stay, there will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on reservation process.
We are not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of money, jewelry or other valuable items left in the rooms. Safety boxes are available to store valuable items safely. Keep the safety box code with you and do not reveal it to anyone.
The Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses does not have a private car park which is why we are not responsible for any theft or damage to own or rented vehicles used as transportation to our units.
In case you forgot to leave your keys on check-out, we kindly ask you to send them directly to your guesthouse within 48 hours. In case we do not receive them within 72 hours, a cost of 25€ will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on reservation process.
In case you forgot some personal belongings at the guesthouse, they will be kept during 30 days after your check-out date. If you ask, we will be glad to send them to you to the address you should inform. Shipping costs will be at your charge and paid at the destination.
Smoking is not allowed in any area of the accommodation units of Shiadu group. A fine of up to € 750 may be applied to guests who violate this policy, in accordance with the Portuguese legislation (Law no. 109/2015, of August 26th).
We kindly ask you to respect the other guests and keep noise to a minimum between 9 pm and 10 am.
We remind you that pets are not allowed at Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses.
Lisbon City Tax: please note that from the 1st of January 2016 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest.
Porto City Tax: please note that from the 1st of March 2018 a city tax of EUR 2 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest.
No prepayment is required. Payment is made during the stay.
You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. You will be charged the full amount of the stay in case of cancellation or no show less than 7 days before de check-in.
When booking for more than 6 persons, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
Prepayment is required. Will be charged the full reservation, on the booking’s day. This is a non-refundable booking, and cannot be canceled or modified even in case of no-show.
The charged amount can be paid through wire transfer, PayPal account or credit card.
If you pay by Paypal, the Paypal commission will be at your charge and will be added to your balance.
The information on how to proceed with the wire transfer will be sent to you, through e-mail, immediately after the pre-booking. In that case, there is usually no commission. However, if a commission is charged to us during the wire transfer, it will be added to your balance.
Other expenses that may occur during your stay can be paid in cash or by credit card (VISA or MasterCard).
In case of cancellation, there is no refund.
